Limelight® Bath is named after one of my favourite candle scents (you'll see we love lime) and because candles take centre stage in our home. Along of course with my husband, our four children and our two miniature dachshunds, Dutchy and Daphne. They both have a passion for tennis balls that rivals my own passion for candles.
I was let's face it, spending a small fortune on my candle habit. Less expensive candles never seemed to smell as good. I had read about the dangers of the wax used by some brands. I eat clean, practice yoga, don't smoke or drink too much (well maybe a little) so why breathe in nasty chemicals from a candle? So our journey began making our own candles and experimenting with wax, fragrances and wicks. We wanted to make candles that smell divine, burn for longer & that are safe. Limelight is based just outside Bath and our candles are all hand-poured. We do not use paraffin wick supports, scent bonding agents or lead wicks and our blended plant wax is from a sustainable source. Our fragrances are chosen with the greatest care from suppliers used by many of the luxury brands. The fragrance loading in our candles is 10%, amongst the highest you'll find in the industry, giving your candle the very best hot scent throw. We don't have expensive shops on the High Street, so we are able to keep our prices down and you can enjoy a beautiful fragranced candle for less.
We pay great attention to each little detail. All our candles come with beautiful lids and our reed diffusers come with silver caps. All exquisitely wrapped, ready to give away - although we are pretty sure you won't want to! We are a little secret for now, but not for long! Follow the journey on our blog.
